Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 9 series. Included are four devices: the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The Pixel 9 series is the latest smartphone lineup that Google has officially unveiled. The business revealed all of the new hardware and software within the Google world at the Made by Google event. There are four devices in the Google Pixel 9 series: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

The Pixel 9 Pro has an enhanced camera system with a triple back arrangement that includes a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. A 48-megapixel Quad PD ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel Octa PD wide camera are also part of the primary camera configuration.
Similar to the Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro has a 4700mAh battery and supports 45W connection. This location also supports wireless charging. The Pixel 9 Pro offers storage choices ranging from 128GB to 1TB in addition to 16GB of RAM.
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
With a resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixels, The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a bigger 6.8-inch 24-bit LTPO OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It shares many of the same features as its Pro sister, including a triple rear camera system with 30x Super Res Zoom and a Tensor G4 processor.
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5,060mAh battery. With its charger, Google says the gadget can charge to 70% capacity in 30 minutes. The gadget comes with 16GB of RAM and a large selection of storage capacities, such as 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has an 8-inch Super Actua Flex inner display and a 6.3-inch cover display. It is “the largest display ever on a phone,” according to Google. The resolution of the external screen is 1080 x 2424 pixels at 422 ppi. Up to 1800 nits of peak brightness in HDR and up to 2700 nits of peak brightness are possible with this panel.
Both screens have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and enable HDR. When folded, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has dimensions of 10.5 mm and 5.1 mm. The same G4 Tensor processor powers the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which also has 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
A 48-megapixel wide camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor with a 5x optical zoom and a 20x Super Res Zoom round out the improved camera system in Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold features a 45W fast-charging 4650mAh battery. Furthermore supported is wireless charging with Qi certification.
Google Pixel 9 Series Price in India and Availability
The 128GB basic model of the Pixel 9 series price is Rs 74,999, while the Pixel 9 Pro price is Rs 94,999 and the price of the Pixel 9 Pro XL is Rs 1,14,999. Customers can buy smartphones from Reliance Digital, Flipkart, Croma, and a few physical retailers.
According to Google, pre-orders for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will open today, and the devices will go on sale on August 22. September will see the release of both the Pixel Fold and the standard Pro model, though the precise dates are still pending.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be available in India in a single configuration with two color options—Porcelain and Obsidian—for the price of Rs 1,72,999. The foldable gadget will be widely available on Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma, though pre-order and availability details are still pending.
With Pixel 9 devices, customers can receive a one-year subscription to Google One AI Premium as part of the selling offers. The Google Pixel 9 series will come with bank discounts of up to Rs 10,000, which will drastically lower the cost of the Pixel 9 phones.
