Yesterday, Triumph India unveiled two motorcycles: the revised Triumph Speed 400 and the brand-new Speed T4. There is much more to the two motorcycles than meets the eye, even though they appear to be the identical at first glance but for the artwork. They are not alike in a lot of ways. Let’s examine it in more detail.
Triumph Speed T4 vs Speed 400 — Platform and design
Based on the same chassis are the new Triumph Speed T4 and the Speed 400. Numerous parts of them are similar, including the 17-inch tires, single-piece seat, round headlight, and overall style. A further examination, however, reveals some of the cost-cutting decisions Bajaj made in order to produce the T4 rather than the Speed 400.

Equipment and attributes of the Triumph Speed T4 against the Speed 400 ?
Aside from the suspension change, the motorcycles also have a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS disc brakes on both ends, a semi-digital instrument console, a slipper clutch, a USB charging outlet, and other parts in common.
One distinction is that, in terms of technology, the more affordable T4 forgoes traction control while the Speed 400 receives one. Other than this, there aren’t much differences between the two in terms of the features and equipment they provide.
Triumph Speed T4 vs Speed 400 — Engine specs
Once more, the 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that powers both bikes is connected to a six-speed gearbox. The engine is adjusted to produce 40 horsepower and 37.5 Nm of torque on the Speed 400, and 30 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque on the new T4. The T4’s engine is more optimized for torque at lower speeds and comfortable riding.
