Microsoft reported that a cloud services outage that affected airlines in the Central United States region and disrupted flights had been resolved. The issue affected low-cost airlines such as Allegiant, Frontier, and SunCountry; nevertheless, operations have resumed as usual.

FlightAware, a data collector, reports that Frontier canceled 147 flights on Thursday and delayed 212 other ones. According to the data, Sun Country delayed 23 percent of its flights, and Allegiant delayed 45 percent. The number of affected flights was not disclosed by the companies.

Microsoft reported that a portion of its customers were having problems with certain Azure services in the Central U.S. region when the outage began on Thursday at around 6 p.m. ET.

Microsoft also announced that it was looking into a problem that was affecting a number of Microsoft 365 services and apps.
