By the official announcement, applicants are required to select four test cities from the list of options on the application form, where they would want to take the test. The announcement added that “The candidate shall be offered to choose from the test cities of nearby States/UTs whenever the number of available test cities in a State/UT of correspondence address is less than four or the demand of testing seats is exceeding the available capacity in the state of correspondence address.”

These four options will not be taken into consideration in terms of test city preference; instead, the test city list of NEET PG 2024 will be assigned to an applicant at random from the list of options. It’s possible that for reasons like overcrowding, administrative, logistical, or security-related issues, a test center cannot be established in any of these four recommended test cities.

In these situations, the test center will be assigned to the candidate in one of the closest sites within the state of correspondence address or in neighboring states/UT. NBEMS will assign a test center anywhere in the nation to candidates who do not indicate their preference for the test cities within this online session.
