Tata Motors has finally revealed the costs of petrol and diesel variants of Tata Curvv following the introduction of the Curvv.EV.
The Curvv ICE (internal combustion engine) will soon be available. The Tata Curvv ICE will be available from Tata in eight configurations and six colours. Three engines and several gearbox options will be available for the Curvv ICE.
The base petrol variant price of the Tata Curvv starts from ₹9.99 lakh, while the base diesel variant costs ₹11.49 lakh. The car is currently available for purchase in India. These are initial costs; beginning in November 2024, they will rise. Only a month has passed since the introduction of the Curvv.EV has starting costs of ₹ 17.49 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
Tata Curvv Petrol Design
The Tata Curvv ICE and EV share an essentially identical design. The air vents and the front grille are the differences. The Citroen Basalt and the Curvv ICE are the only two vehicles in the class with the same design—the Curvv ICE still has the coupe SUV appearance.
Tata Curvv Petrol Specifications and Features
Like the Curvv EV, the Tata Curvv petrol and diesel has a luxurious interior. The steering wheel is identical to that of the Tata Harrier, with four spokes. The coupe SUV’s dashboard now has ambient lighting, which also gives the interior a more luxurious look and feel. In the cabin is also a 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The vehicle also features a panoramic sunroof, air purification, auto climate control, ventilated front seats, and a nine-speaker JBL audio system. All model levels come equipped with six airbags as standard equipment. The higher grades also come with a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic parking brake, and ADAS technology.
Engine Specs
There will be one diesel engine and two turbocharged petrol engines available for the Tata Curvv ICE. The new 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo petrol produces 225 Nm of peak torque and 123 bhp, while the existing 1.2-litre turbo petrol makes 170 Nm and 118 horsepower.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces a maximum torque of 260 Nm and 113 horsepower. With all three engines matched to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic, the Tata Curvv ICE is the first diesel car in its class to be outfitted with a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
