Tumbbad Re-Release Day 1 Ticket Sales
The horror movie sold almost 40,000 tickets on its first day, which is amazing given that it is the fourth-highest ticket sales of the movies presently showing in theaters. On September 13, Tumbbad’s ticket sales trailed those of The GOAT, ARM, and Stree 2.
Beats Shah Rukh Khan’s Veer Zara
Unexpectedly, Shah Rukh Khan’s legendary film Veer Zara and Tumbbad’s rerelease coincided, yet Tumbbad is trending nine times better than Veer Zara. On the first day of its re-release on September 13, the Yash Chopra romance drama sold 5.75K tickets, which is presently thought to be a problem. In contrast, Tumbbad sold 45K tickets, which is nine times better.
The re-release of the horror movie has done better at the box office than Kareena Kapoor Khan’s recently released The Buckingham Murders.. Helmed by Hansal Mehta, Bebo’s fierce avatar could register ticket sales of 28K on day 1. In total, the film has hit 34.42K ticket sales, while Tumbbad registered 60% higher ticket sales in total!

The total ticket sales for the re-release have hit 79.19K, with 34.19K coming from the advance booking. It is anticipated that the movie would turn a profit on its first day of release, making up for the total budget that it lost on its first showing in 2018.
