Model and businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir and actor Urmila Matondkar have filed for divorce. Mohsin and Urmila reportedly met in 2014 during the wedding of designer Manish Malhotra’s niece, according to a Hindustan Times article.

Urmila last acted in the 2014 Marathi movie Ajoba. She hasn’t been seen on screen since. Additionally, she made a cameo in the song “Bewafa Beauty” from the 2018 movie Blackmail.
Who is Mohsin Akhtar Mir?
Mohsin is a model and businessman from Kashmir. In 2014, at the niece’s wedding of designer Manish Malhotra, he and Urmila first met. They chose to tie the knot in a small ceremony in 2016 after courting for a while. Following a Nikah ceremony, they visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar as part of their wedding.
At the age of 21, Mir relocated to Mumbai with the goal of pursuing a career in movies. He debuted as an actor in 2009’s It’s A Man’s World and went on to feature in a number of other movies, such as Luck By Chance directed by Zoya Akhtar, Mumbai Mast Kallander (2011), and B.A. Pass (2012). Eventually, he turned his attention to business, and it is said that he is connected to Manish Malhotra’s clothing line.
On the professional front, Urmila will return with the web series Tiwari. This will be her first time on OTT.
